Halloween ComicFest 2014: Free Comic Book Giveaways In San Antonio

Just a heads-up that several local comic book stores here in San Antonio will be participating in Halloween ComicFest on Saturday, October 25, 2014!

If you're not familiar with ComicFest, it's an off-shoot of Free Comic Book Day that's always held the Saturday before Halloween.

Families can come into participating independent comic book stores to snag free comic books!  It looks like we can choose from a few different titles this year, including Batman, Archie, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and more!

The Back To School Brigade offers free backpacks and other school supplies to children of active duty service members, along with dependents of wounded service members.
