Slab Cinema San Antonio: Free Outdoor Films Summer 2014

Add the new lineup of free outdoor films from Slab Cinema to your list of things to do with your kids this summer!

Slab Cinema will be hosting free films at a variety of locations around San Antonio starting June 2014, including weekly free family films downtown at Travis Park.

Most films will start promptly right at sundown, although some locations will host additional free activities up to an hour before showtime.

  • Tuesday, June 10 -- Frozen shown at Travis Park
  • Saturday, June 14 -- The Red Balloon and A Cat in Paris shown at the San Antonio Museum of Art
  • Tuesday, June 17 -- Monsters University shown at Travis Park
  • Friday, June 20 -- The Lego Movie shown at the Alamo Heights Nature Trailhead Park (near the Alamo Heights pool)
  • Tuesday, June 24 -- Finding Nemo shown at Travis Park
  • Saturday, June 28 -- Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris shown at the San Antonio Museum of Art (free with museum admission)
  • Saturday, June 28 -- The Avengers shown at Woodlawn Lake Park
  • Tuesday, July 1 -- Toy Story 2 shown at Travis Park
  • Tuesday, July 8 -- Cars 2 shown at Travis Park
  • Tuesday, July 15 -- Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 shown at Travis Park
  • Friday, July 18 -- Gravity shown at the Alamo Heights Nature Trailhead Park (near the Alamo Heights pool)
  • Tuesday, July 22 -- The Smurfs 2 shown at Travis Park
  • Tuesday, July 29 -- Despicable Me 2 shown at Travis Park
  • Friday, August 22 -- Frozen shown at the Alamo Heights Nature Trailhead Park (near the Alamo Heights pool)
  • Friday, September 19 -- An Affair To Remember shown at the San Antonio Botanical Garden
