The Back 2 School Expo is scheduled to run from 9am to 3pm at Freeman Coliseum -- but I would get there right at opening if you're interested in snagging your school freebies.
In addition to the free backpacks and school supplies, you can also score free haircuts for your kids, score no-cost/low-cost immunizations required for school-age kids, and check out exhibits from local and national vendors.
