Children under the age of two can get in free to any Ringling Bros circus performance, provided they sit on their mother's or father's lap through the show!
Here's what the frequently asked questions section of the Ringling Bros website says:
9. Do I need to purchase a ticket for my infant child who will sit on my lap for the entire show?You can print or read the entire FAQ section here.
Children under 2 are admitted free provided they sit on a parent or guardian's lap. All children 24 months old and older must have a ticket. For children two and older, ticket prices are the same for children and adults alike.
In addition, you can also sign your child up for the Baby's First Circus program, which gets an infant 12 months or under in for free, along with a commemorative certificate to scrapbook or frame in the nursery.
However, the free tickets through Baby's First Circus take 12 to 14 weeks to mail, so you won't get them in time for the San Antonio shows running July 4 - 8, 2013.
