There are two separate categories -- you can participate in the chain-wide effort to set a world record for the most people to simultaneously eat a tater tot, or you can compete in the individual tater tot eating contest for a chance to win a trip to Cleveland for the national championship!
There's no purchase or entry fee to participate in either the group or solo Rock The Tot contests, but I recommend you check out the rules here before you get ready to chow down.
Here in San Antonio, it looks like both the La Cantera and the Stone Oak Bar Louie locations are participating!
