San Antonio Kidcation Week: Food Freebies August 2013

San Antonio Kidcation Week is scheduled for August 12 - 18, 2013 -- and just like you think, it's meant to highlight a week worth of kid-friendly activities for locals right before they send their children back to school!

Even better, many San Antonio restaurants are participating with some free food offers good throughout the entire month of August!  Here are my favorite picks to snag:

• Big Apple Bagels -- the downtown location is offering a free bagel for kids 14 and under, plus the opportunity to take a behind the scenes tour of the kitchen!  Limit of three free bagels per group; no coupon or additional purchase necessary.  This offer is good for the full month of August.
• Cheesy Jane's -- Throughout August 2013, any kids' meal comes with a free kid-size milkshake.  Dine-in only; limit of three free milkshakes per table.  See more Cheesy Jane's coupons here.
• Japanese Tea Garden -- Free cookies for kids at the Jingu Tea House during August, plus 10% off the rest of your dining.
