Festival organizers need help Friday, June 7 (5 p.m. – 11 p.m.), Saturday, June 8 (11 a.m. – 11 p.m.) and Sunday, June 9 (12 p.m. – 7 p.m.) to do things like take tickets, stamp hands, man a lost child center, or assist with children's crafts & game stations.
Here's what you'll score in exchange for helping out:
- Volunteers receive a wristband that is valid for free admission June 7-9, 2013.
- Volunteers receive a parking pass and free shuttle to and from the festival grounds.
- Volunteers receive a discount on t-shirt purchase. (*applies to 42nd annual volunteer t-shirt)
So if you'd like to attend the Texas Folklife Festival but don't want to cough up the admission, this is a great way to get in for free!
Otherwise, I recommend buying your admission passes online -- adult tickets are $10 each online, or $12 at the gate.
